Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges.
Please be aware that as these are non-contractual, they are therefore not prioritised. Our GPs will see urgent patients, routine patients, manage long term conditions and complete contractual and legal administration before these are completed. There is no agreed timescale on the completion of these. We are unable to make any guarantees of a timescale upon receipt of any such document. Please understand that our top priority will always be patient care.
Examples include the following:
- Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
- Insurance claim forms
- Documentation for foreign travel
- Private sick notes
- To whom it may concern letter
The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
