Use the Healthier Together App

Together app has been designed to allow you to access care for your child much more easily.

For babies, toddlers, tweens or teens, the NHS Healthier Together app gives practical health advice, 24/7; what to look out for, what you can safely treat at home and when to get mediacl help.

If your child is unwell and needs to be seen by a healthcare professional, instead of having to call your GP surgery, your surgery would like you to  use the app to directly inform them about your child's symptonms. They will then contact you to decide what needs to be done.

Download the free app AppStore  or  Google Play.

eConsult

eConsult is an online consultation system which enables patients to submit their symptoms or requests to their own GP electronically during surgery hours. Submitting an eConsult may result in you being asked to book an appointment.  This system will signpost to NHS self-help information and other services where appropriate.

eConsult is not to be used to request appointments/routine medications.

Choose Pharmacy First

Your local NHS pharmacy can help you with certain acute minor illnesses and prescribe treatment without having to get a GP appointment.

You do not require an appointment with the pharmacy.

Some local pharmacies that offer this service include:

Home Visits

If you think an immediate home visit is required, please contact us as soon as possible.

Our team are keen to ensure we make the best use of our practitioner's time to provide the most appropriate care to those most in need. This is a clinical decision and, for the majority of patients, it is more effective and efficient to be seen in the surgery setting.

EYE

NHS Primary Eyecare Services

If you have a sticky or red eye or are experiencing sudden onset of new eye problems such as flashes, floaters, vision loss or minor eye injuries there is a specialist service available locally   Find Practice

This is not a walk-in service. You will be asked to explain your eye problem after which you may then be given self-care information, booked in for an appointment (virtual or in person), referred to hospital eye services, or referred to your GP practice if there are other health issues that need to be addressed.

Training Practice

We are a teaching and training practice. This means that, with a patient’s consent, medical, nursing, physio, pharmacy and paramedic students may be present during consultations. Occasionally consultations are also videotaped for training purposes with the focus being on how we can improve our consultation skills.
